My name is Tom Tubergen, and I’m the President and CEO of Mentoring Success Group, LLC. A number of years ago, I had a client with a dilemma. They needed to sift through massive amounts of data regarding quality management issues to uncover the specific nuggets of information they needed to focus on to ensure that their quality processes were operating as intended. The predicament was that they were overwhelmed with information, much of it useless or meaningless. They’d lost sight of what it was they needed to know, and why it was important to them. With my expertise in software engineering and manufacturing technology, I developed an artificial intelligence engine that was able to review the entire quality management processes of large diverse organizations. During the 1990's, my technology was widely adopted by nearly every Fortune 500 company in the US, and many significant foreign companies. Even NASA got onboard, using the product to manage the quality control processes for the space shuttle program.
A few years ago, it occurred to me that a large majority of entrepreneurs are highly skilled at developing or delivering their specific products or services, but are often inexperienced at running their business enterprise.
